We are in need of 10 volunteers to assist us with a mobile pantry distribution. The mobile will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, in the parking lot of Paradise Entertainment Center located at 645 E Georgia Ave. Memphis, TN 38126.
Volunteers will be responsible for distributing diapers and period supplies, directing traffic, assisting intake process, cleaning work area, as well as, helping us set up and break down. Volunteers must arrive between 9:30A and 10:00A. The mobile pantry will operate from 10:30A to approximately 1:30P. Our end time is approximate because we will distribute until everything is gone.
Please note:
1) This is an outside event that will take place no matter the weather. We strongly encourage volunteers to check the weather and dress accordingly. I also want to mention that there is not access to a restroom at this site. There will be nitrile and latex gloves available for all volunteers.
2) No special skills needed. Able to stand for the duration of the shift. Also able to bend and lift items into clients car.
3) Please dress comfortable and according the weather. This is an outside event.
4) Upon signing in, you will be agreeing to our volunteer consent forms.
